Jules Pampena: Musician
Adobe Illustrator
As a musician, Jules Pampena’s output places heavy focus on dynamics, rhythm, melody and sonic exploration. His business card employs a dynamic layout, emphasizing movement and rhythm through repetition and scale in order to communicate this. A warm color palette of browns and yellows is used to evoke a sense of the classic, analog approach of the 70s. The background colors on the back and front are purposely different.
Kim Miranda: Real-Estate Agent
Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator
The design for this real estate agent card has a vector silhouette of a house and the “Remax” company logo to quickly communicate the role of this business person. The color blue evokes feelings of trust and reliability. A photograph of the real estate agent is used in order to create an immediate personal connection where the name can be connected to a face.
Crystal Healing Tones
Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator
This business card features the service logo accompanied by an image of a crystal singing bowl & tools. This immediately communicates the nature of this service. The elements are placed on a white background to evoke a sense of air, space and calm.
The Mothership Rehearsal Studios
Adobe Illustrator
This business card (sporting the Mothership logo) was designed for a band rehearsal space business with a large building and clientele. Printed with the use of a waterproof material, the card doubles as a coaster. The client wished to communicate that this building is not a run-of-the-mill space but an artistic place where creativity thrives. A color palette with multiple colors was used and directly references the multi-colored palette present in the interior design of the building. A walk through the halls of this business will show that the logo is a direct extension of what you see there.
A floor plan illustration is implemented, communicating that this is a space with multiple rooms available for rent. The square, representing the building, is placed within a circle, which represents the surrounding area. The font choice and layout is intended to represent creativity, fun and freedom.
Poissonnerie Karacas
Adobe Illustrator
The vertical design for this business card was employed to maximize the use of space for the client’s budget. Equal amounts of space are afforded to the content. The challenge here was to keep things uncluttered and to establish a clear visual hierarchy which retains legibility.
