Since Curious Case has elements of fun, wackiness and a heavier, darker edge to the sound, the poster design employed a dark circus concept to convey this vibe. 200 balloons were inflated and meticulously painted with the band logo for this photo. A fin circus style font was used with larger cropped letter forms and laid out to hold the important information and direct the viewers eye.

The Chronicles of Israfel

This is a band that employs a sci-fi concept with heavy emphasis on the color purple and its connection to wisdom, spirituality, power and nobility. The tree is a perfect representation of these concepts and therefore was featured in this poster.

The Damn Truth Tour poster

With influences from 60s and 70s rock, this band wanted to pay homage to that through a floral/psychedelic style background image. The monochromatic photography is given a warm hue to contrast against the cool colors in the background.

The Damn Truth Charity Show poster

This next variation of The Damn Truth poster was designed for a charity show. It employs the same background and logo imagery however extra information has been added. The color temperature in the new band photo is kept more neutral than in the previous poster.

Mangy Pride Vortex

Mangy Pride has elements of psychedelia, blues and rock in their sound so their poster was designed with mind bending/hallucinogenic inspired visuals. the blind donkey is a recurring visual theme and here it is placed as the focal point of the hallucinogenic design, elevating it to an icon-like status. the font was created from the principal singer-songwriter’s handwriting.

Hi Latency Earth Waves

Hi Latency was a series of late night party events held at a local musician rehearsal building. This particular poster is second in the series. The concept of broadcast waves reverberating throughout space was illustrated using rings of increasing thickness. The resulting image also doubles as the representation of a sound speaker. The text design stems from the client wish for a highly unorthodox text layout which would intrigue and attract viewers.

Hi Latency Radio Tower

The first Hi Latency event poster utilizes conflicting colors to play with the viewers eye, referencing psychedelic posters of the past. The broadcast concept was first explored here using radio waves emanating from a central tower. It was requested that the text layout be unorthodox and intriguing to inspire a fun read through.

Kamikaze Baby Landing

The first in a series of show posters for band, Kamikaze Baby, the poster relies heavily on hand drawn illustrations juxtaposed against a backdrop composed of images of a paint pallette. The band’s album cover was a painting and photographs of the paint pallette were taken and used to create the world for this series of posters. The band emphasized the importance of the “hand made” aspect of their marketing material. Everything needed to have an organic, analog look and feel. The approach with the text was no different with hand writing being used to convey all the information.

Kamikaze Baby Whirlpool

This is the third and final poster of the painted series. After the first poster was produced it was decided that a narrative would be created. So where the first poster had the band airdropping onto land and the second shows them on a boat headed for new territories, the third depicts the boat being swallowed by a whirlpool.

Kamikaze Baby Island Search

The second poster in the series depicts the members of the band taking a boat in search for new ground. Again, the imagery was created using photos of paint from a painter’s pallette.

Max Lazich Lessons Posters

This promotional music lesson poster employs bold, easy to read text to convey the information clearly and quickly. A section is devoted to tear-off tabs that contain the drummer’s contact info. The image shows the drummer in movement and made for a much more interesting shot than a static pose.
